PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS with certified Nutrition and Wellness Specialist and Personal Trainer, Kim Way, who has a proven track record in getting results for her clients. She is committed to continual education to serve her clients in the most effective way possible. Your sessions will be at scheduled times, a minimum of twice a week, to keep you consistent and accountable. With a focus on correct technique to prevent injury, we will push you harder than you would push yourself. The result will be a stronger, fitter, and happier you!

In high school I was a competitive gymnast, active downhill skier and broomball player, but in later years I gained and then subsequently lost 40 pounds. Along the way I discovered that good health is a journey, not a destination, and during the process found a passion for healthy food and for treating my body well. I have also began competing in triathlons, and love to help those who would like to do the same, or to achieve whatever their personal fitness goals, whether it be to lose weight, gain muscle, or simply get healthy and fit to enjoy life to the fullest. In June 2009, I entered parenthood with a sweet baby girl…and 30 extra pregnancy pounds. Despite the baby bliss, I felt uncomfortable and, well, puffy. I had no idea how I’d find a personal trainer who’d be able to accommodate the haphazard schedule of a new mother but I had to try. About a month into life with baby, I remembered a tip a friend shared with me about Kim and her personal training studio. Having gone to high school with Kim, I looked her up on Facebook and sent along a brief note. Next thing I knew, I (with baby in tow) was meeting with Kim to chat about personal training options. I was very grateful for that preliminary consultation because it gave me an opportunity to tell Kim my likes and dislikes in a fitness workout. Shortly after that, Kim was giving me a “butt-kickin” good time working out twice a week. Even a little sleep-deprived, I looked forward to my personal training sessions with Kim. The sessions were a little tough, a lot of fun, and best of all, effective! The nutritional and post-natal information Kim shared was handy new knowledge too. I have been training with Kim for the last year. I have trained in the past with other trainers and have found Kim to be a great fit for me. I need a trainer that is present during my entire workout, someone that listens to my fitness goals and develops programs accordingly to help me achieve those goals. I am also a person that likes to often switch it up. Kim creates new workouts for me nearly every 6 weeks, gets me re-motivated and excited for my workouts. I too need that extra push, that one-on-one to be successful in achieving my goals. As most people know, to be successful in getting in shape or staying in shape, it's important to eat right.
